On 21-July-2019, under the convening of chief scientist academician Yin Yulong, the four collaborative innovation teams (China Academy of Science Lanzhou Institute, Hunan Agricultural University, Nanjing Agricultural University and Jiangsu Sinitic Biological Technology Co., LTD) gathered again in Changsha city, Hunan province, to hold a seminar discussing the attapulgite anti-toxin, antibacterial and growthing-promoting nanometer new material product evaluation.

With the non-antibiotics trend getting closer, after developed high efficacy attapulgite-based mycotoxin binder, Sinitic dedicated to develop new attapulgite nanometer material products for adsorbing mycotoxins and antimicrobial growth promoting, based on advantanges of attapulgite resources, technology and strategy cooperation with academicians and experts, plus the collaborative innovation. As a post-doctoral project, through the effort of the experts group for more than three years, the product has initially completed the laboratory process, and carried out fruitful animal experiments, the industrial production line is under construction.

On this meeting, after the detailed introductions of product research and development, technique finalization and animal experiments, all the experts agreed that the development direction of this product is correct, the product technique is reliable and the animal experiments are effective. Through the research on attapulgite and organic molecule hybridization, the new nanometer antimicrobial material is made by adding essential oil to attapulgite. It has good effect on antimicrobial function and has good resistance on heat and acids. By fixing the surfactant on attapulgite, it can effectively extend the antibacterial aging. So that the material has accurate antibacterial ability and low biotoxicity. It will be a newly-born product to substitue antibiotics and benifit the breeding industry.
